Santa Sacks

โ€”

Here’s what I’ve been working on the last couple of days:

We’re planning to use these to haul around all of our gifts this weekend and use them as part of the gift. It took almost the entire day to make the one in the second picture, but I made two like the one in the first picture yesterday. I have at least one more to make today. Not bad for a sewing novice, eh?

  5. Amy–I did use a pattern; a Simplicity one, I think. One reason that it took me so long on the first one is because I had a terrible time trying to understand the pattern. It’s like trying to understand a foreign language! I fell in love with my seam ripper this week, LOL!!! I really enjoy making things and I hope to become better acquainted with the ins and outs of sewing this coming year.I really appreciate all the compliments, y’all! Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
