Fun! Our oldest will have his first recital before too long, I think. Our piano is sadly out of tune, too, because we’ve moved it several times, and I’ve procrastinated for years about finding someone to tune it. Now I’m scared it will cost a fortune to get it tuned. But it really needs to be done.

Oh that is just so precious! They did such a wonderful job! I know what you mean about piano being out of tune. My daughter has her recital tonight and I just know I am going to know how out of tune ours is when they play on a nice piano!

Hannah and Benjamin, You did a lovely job! Both of those songs sounded very familiar and you played them wonderfully :)Leslie…Our piano is a very old upright that was given to us (so no complaints) but is terribly out of tune with stuck keys, to boot. We are aching for a new one some day.

Please tell them that they both did MARVELOUSLY!!! I sooooo well remember my piano recitals!! I was always more shocked that I lived through them than I was that I remembered the songs. I was always confident I would have a heart attack and die in the middle of playing. LOL!!!His,Mrs. U

Very cute! Do your kids play out of the Faber “Piano Adventures” method? I recognize those songs. =)wish you lived close – I could recommend a good tuner/technician for ya. =) What kind of piano do you have?
