A smell that cheers me up: The smell of a book.

A smell that can ruin my mood: I honestly can’t think of any one smell that can ruin my mood. And, since having children, my nose has been assaulted by some nasty odors. Usually, if my mood is ruined, it’s because I woke up that way.

How long since I last shaved: Today. I’m really looking forward to going to bed tonight.
Smooth legs + Clean sheets = Heaven.

The current state of my hair: Clean and dry.

The largest item on my desk/workspace (not computer): A massive printer/copier/scanner/fax machine.

My skill with chopsticks: OK. I can do it, but it’s not the most fun I’ve had with sticks.

Which section I head for first in a bookstore: Depends on what I’m wanting. Sometimes I go straight for the corner with Starbucks.

Something I’m craving: To see something beautiful and inspiring.

My general thoughts on the presidential race: Operation Chaos is in full-swing.

How many times have I been hospitalized this year: None.

Favorite place to go for a quiet moment: It’s one of three places: my bedroom, the laundry room, or sometimes, I take a shower. If I am able to leave the house, my favorite place to go is down by the river. I love to sit there and watch the river flow.

I’ve always secretly thought I’d be a good: Stage actress and singer. Singing and dancing on stage looks like so much fun!! I do it around the house, but my kids are getting too old to like it. The other day Benjamin asked me to stop singing everything I was saying. I didn’t. Instead, he started singing everything, too. It’s more fun. You should try it.

Something that freaks me out a little: Horror movies. I can’t stand them. They freak me out.

Something I’ve eaten too much of lately: Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream. OH! And I noticed they mixed together chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate fudge brownie to make one awesome pint of ice cream. It’s a dream come true that my nearest Publix isn’t carrying. The manager told me to wait about a week.

I have never: Smoked pot.

I never want to: Vomit. I have a five-year vomit-free streak going. Yay!
