  1. Thanks for sharing that, Leslie! Jason received that from a brother who was at the memorial service, but we hadn’t gotten to watch it yet. Powerful. Powerful. I love what the brother said – ‘we prayed for healing, and He healed her in a way that we didn’t like, but he’s going to heal my brother in a way we’re all going to like’. That’s when the tears started flowing. Samuel has been so affected by this. He prays for the chapmans at every meal-time and before bed and during our devotions in the morning. Though I have forgotten to pray at times, he hasn’t!!!

  2. Hey Leslie! My name is Jennifer and I came across your blog from another blog and I am so blessed that I did! I don’t have an active blog, but I read several. I am a stay-at-home mom and pastor’s wife. We are in Southwest Florida and attend a Reformed Baptist Church. The first post of yours I read was the one where you were reviewing chapter eight of “The Excellent Wife” but you had provided a link to Joshua Harris’s Mother’s day sermon. Well, I just listened to it and I was absolutely blown away at God’s timing for me to hear that sermon and the encouraging and challenging truths that were shared. Just wanted to tell you thanks for posting the link.Consider me a faithful reader of your blog from here on out.Jenniferjenmom1707@yahoo.com

  7. What a powerful testimony, thank you Leslie I had not seen this. It reminds me that the Chapman family needs prayer even more now as they walk through their days with Maria. Thanks again. Linda
