The best Wednesday I’ve had all week

, ,

Busy, busy day today. It’s not helpful to have a blogging goal (to blog every day this year) but not have anything in particular to write. Do you ever get to the end of the day and feel like you just don’t have any words left? That’s how I feel right now.

I could write about two projects I’ve been working on, but, since one may never come to fruition and the second involves my in-laws, who read my blog, that’s all I have to say about my projects.

I could write about the book I’m reading, but I haven’t had any time to sit and read it this week. I did scroll through my feed reader this evening, so I’ll share a few things I think you’ll enjoy.

1. I spied something lovely on the internet today. Go here to see what it is.

2. Persis is giving away a book by Richard Sibbes this month.

3. You’ve heard of “lyrical theology,” right? Well, Tim Challies is beginning a series he’s calling, “Visual Theology.” Here’s a graphic for the order of salvation. It’s pretty neat.

I’m considering cutting out all caffeine consumption except for my morning coffee. I’m having some serious insomnia issues. Midnight approaches, and I’m not sleepy in the slightest.

Now, I must go prepare a few things for school tomorrow. Soli Deo Gloria!

Before I do, though, would you be so kind and ask me a question? I need some blogging inspiration. Go ahead, ask me anything.

  1. My choir sang a song this Christmas called Soli Deo Gloria. They were the only three words in the entire song, which is all that were needed. Have a good day!

  2. What does it say about me that I am having a hard time coming up with interesting questions? I am so tired of being sick and haven’t been out of the house since Monday night. But I’m going to try…did you get a new camera lens for Christmas? Where did you meet Karl? Do you have a favorite new recipe? Now, get blogging! 🙂

  3. Somehow my comment went to you as a message, so I’ll try again.

    The only caffeine I have anymore is in my sweet tea, but we use a blend of decaf/caff for that so it’s not full strength. Then there’s the chocolate…but I’m not giving that up!

    Hmmm, a question. If you could dine with three authors (living or dead) together, who would you choose and what would you ask them?

  4. Leslie,
    Lovin’ the graphic, thank you. It is helpful for those of us, o.k. me, who tend too get to flowery and involved in gospel description, thereby losing the audience. =o}
