Sticking to my menu plan was so very helpful last week, that I’m doing it again! For more menus, visit I’m an Organizing Junkie.
Tuesday
Chicken casserole, rice, broccoli
Wednesday
Beef tips and rice, salad, steamed carrots
Thursday
Turkey breast, wild rice, green bean bundles (recipe below)
Friday
Super Sandwiches, apple wedges, chips
Green Bean Bundles are a family favorite and quite delicious!!
2 cans whole green beans
1 package of fresh bacon
Red-Wine Vinegar
Garlic powder
Pepper
Wrap about 10-15 green beans in 1 slice of bacon (I usually cut the bacon in half). Secure with a toothpick. Arrange in baking dish. Douse with red-wine vinegar. Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Enjoy!!
“Jesus answered them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger; and whoever believes in me shall never thirst…I am the bread of life.'” John 6:32-33, 35 ESV
Your green bean bundles sound so good. I will have to give them a try.

Hey.. thanks for stopping by my blog. We love Turkey burgers, as we do very little red meat. We substitute ground turkey for ground beef.

Nice week you have planned! We do green bean bundles but a bit different; pour Catalina dressing on them…yours sounds different and maybe a bit better for you so I’ll have to try these out sometime!

Hey Leslie,The menu looks great for this week, especially the Green Bean Bundles. Do you think that would work with fresh asparagus? I’ve been buying it occasionally at Sam’s because we all love it and it just seems like it might fit in place of the green beans (maybe I’ll substitute a splash of olive oil for the red wine vinegar-I know that probably wouldn’t work for Benjamin and Noah, though). Anyway, I think I’ll try them both! Thanks for all your good ideas!Love, Aunt Terry

Looks like a great menu plan. This has been very helpful to me as well. And it’s easy to change things up, if the week doesn’t go according to plan!
