Mrs. “M” tagged me for the homeschooling meme. Here goes nothin’!
1) One homeschooling book you have enjoyed.
I really enjoyed Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit by Terri Maxwell.
2) One resource you wouldn’t be without.
The internet! Just the other day we were reading about the monk caves in Ajanta, India. I found several sites that offered pictorial tours. The kids loved it and starting asking if we could go! Bring out the globe for a little geography lesson!!! Where are we? Where is India? No–not going there today, but let’s look at these cool pictures!
3) One resource you wish you had never bought.
Spelling Workout.
4) One resource you enjoyed last year (and this year).
The Story of the World, Volume 1 by Susan Wise Bauer
5) One resource you will be using next year.
The Story of the World, Volume 2 by Susan Wise Bauer
6) One resource you would like to buy.
Rosetta Stone
7) One homeschooling catalog you enjoy reading.
All of them!
8) One homeschooling website you use regularly.
There is a neat little site called MathFactCafe. With a few clicks, I can build math fact sheets of all kinds and the kids can type in their answers. Since they enjoy using the computer so much it makes math fun for them.
9) Tag other homeschoolers.
Daughter of Hope (Alicia), A Walk in My Garden (Christina), and The Tate School (Kate). If you’ve already done this one, disregard this tagging!

I saw this meme on other sites. I am glad it’s making it’s way around. So-so-so much to consider and at least narrowing down what is most often mentioned as *good* or *bad* is certainly helpful 🙂
