October Book Give Aways

John at While We Sojourn is giving away Knowing Scripture by R.C. Sproul. This is an excellent book!

Ben at Unbreakable Joy is giving away The Discipline of Grace by Jerry Bridges. This is the one I’m hoping to win. It’s been on my wish list for too long.

Brian at Light and Heat is giving away A Gospel Primer for Christians by Milton Vincent. I have this one, too.

I am giving away one of my recent reads, Practical Theology for Women, How Knowing God Makes a Difference in Our Daily Lives by Wendy Alsup. You can read my review, if you’d like, or check out the other Amazon reviews. Just leave a comment for this post (enable your email address, please) to enter. I’ll announce the winner on Oct. 31.

  2. Sounds like a good book. I think this is my first comment, but I have enjoyed reading here for a while. Good books are a good lure to get me to speak up! 🙂 ~Leslie in tx

  4. I’ve heard wonderful things about this; I think I read a review when Lydia Brownback was still blogging, and it’s been on my wishlist ever since!

  5. Ooo, oooh. Count me in too! I really want to read this and several people have told me they purchased and read the book on my recommendation and I haven’t even gotten my hands on a copy yet! Silly. Silly. (and dangerous!)

  7. Oh, I’d love to read this book. I am one of the co-ordinators of an online book club for evangelical women down here in Australia, and South Africa is joining us shortly (you can see it at http://www.equipbooks.blogspot.com) and am keen to see if this book is suitable for our readers next year (and we have just had Mark Driscoll visiting down here and setting the place on fire! 🙂 ).
