He is his mother’s son

Yesterday afternoon Benjamin decided that he wanted to learn how to roller skate. He put on my roller blades (only a few sized to large for him) and struggled to roll around the house and yard. I took him to our front porch, where the concrete is smooth, and held his hand as we went back and forth. After demonstrating my skating technique for him and talking him through how to shift his weight, he concluded, “I just need to read a book that can tell me more about how to do this.”

  1. oops! I guess he is destined to be a manual reader. Me it’s trial and error all the way. My hubby sits down and reads the manuals from front to back!! So do they have a how to skate manual??
