September Book Give Away (#1)

Last month, I read Glenn Beck’s, Common Sense. It’s pretty good. The main thing I disliked is that Beck kind of jumps to conclusions without explaining how he gets from point A to point B. His writing in this book reminds me of the way I think when I get emotionally worked-up over an issue. It’s not a bad book, but it’s not the ONE to read. As a plus, though, Thomas Paine’s, “Common Sense,” is included as an appendix.

If you’re in the market to buy a book similar (but superior) to Beck’s, I would recommend Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto by Mark Levin. It is excellent! Levin is smart, clear, and thorough.

As for me, I’ve got my sights set on this one.  That is, if I can stomach it.

Buy Levin’s book, but sign up below for a chance to win Beck’s book.  Read it and pass it along to someone else.

Put your name in the hat now!  This drawing will end 12:00 PM (Central Time) Wednesday, September 2.

Closed.

I'd like to read her book also. But kind of not. I know what it will do to me. Hubby got Mark's book when it came out, but I haven't read it. Yet.I've heard good things about Glen's book, too.Maybe one day I will read them all. 😀
