My post the other day about Christian Schmidt generated lots of comments, so I thought several Alabamenagerie readers may be blessed by reading the obituary penned by his brother and published in The Tuscaloosa News today.  It is beautiful.  You may also leave a message for the Schmidt family there, if you like.

    Thanks for sharing this. I have been meditating on these verses in Philippians. So encouraged by this young mans life and how God has been made much of through his suffering. So loved how he says he “Lives Weak” to it’s fullest expression.
