I think I’m going to have to start a category for each of my kids and the silly things they say. It was Abbey again this time:

Observing Karl and me as we discussed whether or not I would give up the remote control. He was trying to win me over with some logic about how his vantage point before the t.v. was better than mine.

Abbey: If I was you, I’d do whatever Daddy told me to do.

Daddy: Why don’t you do whatever I ask you to now?

Abbey: I said, ‘If I was Mommy.’
