February Status Report

Sitting…at the school table.

Listening…to the Desiring God Pastors’ Conference Speakers Panel Discussion on prayer. This has been a very encouraging and helpful conference. I’m thankful Desiring God provides a free streaming of the audio/video. (So this update will be short.)

Drinking…Godiva Hazelnut Creme coffee. And enjoying it very much!

ReadingUnshaken: Rising from the Ruins of Haiti’s Hotel Montana by Dan Woolley.

Contemplating…Philippians 1:27-30: Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one Spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake, engaged in the same conflict that you saw I had and not hear that I still have.

Watching…the Middle East.

Persisting…by the grace of God.

Gagging…on the dullness of this post. I have written and deleted every personal tidbit that made this post interesting (to me). I am tempted to delete the whole thing. But I won’t. Because “The Status Report?” It is what it is.

  1. Is the book good? The coffee certainly sounds as if it is!

I wish I could listen to the stream of the DG conference…hope you’ll blog about some of it!

    1. Coffee…delicious.
The book…I haven’t read enough of the book yet to have an opinion of it.
Blogging the conference…I hate to disappoint, but I have no plans to blog about any of it. You know how DG makes all of their resources available for free…I’m sure you’ll be able to watch or listen to it online once they make it available. It’s been SO good!
