A 2007 Lux Venit Rewind, Part 1

The end of 2007 fast approaches. I am planning a couple of “looking back” posts. I offer the first one today with links to the first posts of each month in 2007:

January: More and More, a New Year’s Meditation.

February: Self-Evaluation, in which I evaluate my progress after blogging through Disciplines of a Godly Woman by Barbara Hughes.

March: H@H: Being a Great Mom (Ch. 4). I tried to blog through this book in 2007, but quickly became bored with it. I loaned it to a friend instead. She returned it to me a couple of weeks ago.

April: Sunday School Funnies, in which I share something funny the four year olds said in church.

May: The Beauty of Flowers, a post for the Carnival of Beauty.

June: In the News. The episode in which we host a Star Wars marathon, celebrate our anniversary, and Karl wrecks his car.

July: Getting Ready for School. Yet another post about our curriculum choices.

August: Ruined!! In which I lament the poor reviews of Becoming Jane.

September: For your weekend An offering of links for good reading.

October: A Sort-of Book Review: Amazing Grace in the Life of William Wilberforce by John Piper. I still haven’t seen the movie. It’s in our Netflix queue of 288 movies, though. Lord willing, I’ll see it one day.

November: WCT: Number Songs, in which I get nostalgic and decide to create a new category for my blog: Watching Classics Together. I’m using the term “classic” quite loosely.

December: How much did you understand when you first believed? A post regarding the very beginnings of my relationship with Jesus. The comments for this post are excellent.

Thursdays are usually reserved for RCT. I’ll try to post my thoughts on Chapter 7 of Overcoming Sin and Temptation later today.

  4. No, Christina, since I didn’t finish the book I decided not to go ahead with the interview. I’m sorry. That’s one thing I regret about this year of blogging. I didn’t do half of what I thought about doing around here. I’m looking forward to another year, too!
